Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job Title: 1st Shift Production SupervisorLocation: Northside of MilwaukeeCompensation: $80,000 - $90,000 plus bonusJob Description:This position is responsible for supervising hourly employees across multiple manufacturing departments, including molding, machining, and assembly, to ensure efficient operations aligned with quality standards and production schedules.Main Responsibilities:People Management: Lead and develop hourly shift employees in a union environment, conduct performance appraisals, and implement training programs.Production Planning: Monitor manufacturing operations using operational metrics, ensure workflow efficiency, and audit labor and machine reports.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and labor contracts; ensure proper safety procedures and equipment usage.Collaboration: Communicate with management and peers to improve procedures; set goals and objectives for team members.Process Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing principles to develop operational solutions; investigate and resolve issues related to materials, quality, and equipment.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturingAssociates or Bachelor's degree requiredNote: This job posting is active and the position is available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
