Overview U.S. Electrical Testing specializes in electrical acceptance testing, maintenance testing, and commissioning services for mission-critical facilities, secure environments, commercial and industrial clients, and electrical contractors. Capabilities include emergency response, engineering services, and turn-key installation and repair. Responsibilities The Commissioning Engineer team performs final testing, startup, and commissioning of electrical distribution equipment, including breakers, transformers, switches, switchgear, relays, and motor control centers. An understanding of complex electrical systems and test equipment is required. You will contribute to a safe working environment and project success. Travel may be required. Assist experienced specialists with electrical deliverables Prepare and review electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets Perform routine electrical calculations Review supplier documentation for compliance Access department guides and standards online Understand commissioning, inspection, and testing of electrical components Basic knowledge of electrical engineering theories and power systems Proficient in technical writing Knowledge of industry codes and standards Good communication skills Willingness to travel to customer sites Qualifications Minimum 10+ years electrical experience with HS diploma or GED OR 8+ years with an associate or bachelor’s degree and 5+ years electrical experience Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization Candidate Expectations Experience with electronics installation or maintenance Ability to interpret trade drawings Knowledge of industry standards like NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E Desired Qualifications OEM certified field service training NETA Level III or IV certification preferred Benefits Competitive salary Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement 401k plan Military Reserve pay offset Paid maternity leave Abilities Prolonged computer use Sitting for extended periods Reach and finger dexterity Good listening and communication skills Reading and comprehension Problem-solving abilities Pay Range USD $39.45 - USD $63.11 /Hr.
