OverviewSr. ASIC/SOC Verification Engineer (Silicon Engineering) at SpaceX — SpaceX is seeking a Sr. ASIC/SOC Verification Engineer to join the Silicon Engineering team. You will work on next-generation ASICs for space and ground infrastructures and contribute to the Starlink network. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for digital ASIC verification at block and system levelWrite and review test plans, develop test harnesses and test sequencesResponsible for test plan execution, running regressions, code and functional coverage closureContribute towards pre-silicon verification, chip bring-up and post-silicon validationBe a hands-on self-starter who can execute the steps required to fully verify a complex digital designBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering5+ years of experience with design verification and test bench developmentPreferred Skills and ExperienceAdvanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineeringExperience with verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM/VMMStrong object-oriented programming knowledgeStrong problem-solving and coding skillsExperience in constrained random verificationExpertise in developing test plans, implementing coverage models, and analyzing resultsExperience with scripting languages, e.g. Python for automationRTL design, chip bring-up, and post-silicon validation experienceAbility to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirementsAdditional RequirementsMust be willing to work extended hours and weekends as neededCompensation & BenefitsPay range: Design Verification Engineer /Senior: $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year. Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is part of SpaceX’s total rewards package, which may include stock, bonuses, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, and other perks.
