Ideal candidates will demonstrate outstanding Character, unwavering Commitment to our core values, strong Expertise, and genuine Enthusiasm for their work.Responsibilities:Project management: Client development, project scoping, managing project teams, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.Technical leadership: Applying sound engineering judgment, understanding codes and practices, collaborating across disciplines, managing various structural projects, and overseeing deliverables and reviews.Mentorship: Sharing knowledge to develop team members, both locally and company-wide, across technical topics and career growth.Practice contributions: Engaging in industry organizations, conferences, and technical committees; attracting and developing future consultants.Qualifications/Competencies:Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in ColoradoMaster's degree in civil/structural engineering or related fieldMinimum 15 years of relevant industry experience in structural engineering, including project management and technical expertise in areas such as failure investigation, seismic analysis, and rehabilitation of structuresStrong communication skills (technical, graphical, written, verbal)Physical Requirements:Must meet physical demands including visual and listening acuity, dexterity for operating equipment, ability to travel, perform inspections, work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate vehicles and safety equipment.Culture, Compensation, and Benefits:WJE is a global leader in engineering, architecture, and materials science, with over 175,000 projects.
