The candidate will support a federal project in Yokota, Japan.Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Leader, this individual may work independently or lead a team of site-based CM staff. In a client-advisory capacity, the CM focuses on facilitation with the A/E and Contractors during execution of one or more projects and is accountable for applying best practices for managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality during construction. Other general duties and responsibilities includeClient representation during building design and construction centered on cost, schedule, scope, and quality managementFacilitating meetings and communication across multiple stakeholders and utilizing the latest project management control systemsAssisting in the development scopes and budgets for building projectsEvaluating potential Changes in the Work and assisting the client with mitigating construction cost and schedule risksMonitoring schedule performance, approving payment requisitions, and generating executive-level progress reportsAssigning and maximizing contributions from technical resources supporting the projectExpediting actions and actively engaging in resolution of issues arising during design and constructionProvide submittal reviewsConstruction Quality inspectionsManaging site-based staff within a fast-paced work environment.Here's what you'll needQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management.
