For more information about Davenergy Solutions and open positions, please visit DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Commissioning Engineer to join our engineering consulting practice. The selected applicant will conduct commissioning, retro-commissioning energy audits, and limited HVAC/Mechanical design assistance services on a variety of property types. Experience performing commissioning services and cost/benefit analyses on energy improvements is required.A successful candidate has experience performing functional testing and building inspections for a wide range of building systems, including but not limited to:Air Handling UnitsChilled Water SystemsHot Water SystemsSteam SystemsPower DistributionPlumbingEmergency SystemsKnowledge of building Test and Balance, use of flow hoods, control system sensor calibration, and other calibrated testing instruments is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to working with all property types and knowledgeable about a variety of HVAC systems.ResponsibilitiesCommissioning of new and existing construction projectsECM determinationKnowledge of building HVAC, Plumbing, and Power systemsSupport limited HVAC/Mechanical design tasks as part of commissioning servicesPrepare clear, concise reports related to commissioning activitiesRequirementsExperience in commissioning and ECM determinationABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineeringFamiliarity with ASHRAE standards and ICC Building, Mechanical and Green Energy CodesCommissioning certification a plus (CxA, CCP, NEBB)Excellent report writing, computer, and internet skillsExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to complete assignments on time and within budgetAbility to utilize ladders, scaffolding and other vertical access equipment for inspectionsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and spend several hours standingSkillsAbility to use various software programs to monitor, update, and produce work productsStrong interpersonal skillsEducation & CertificationsPE preferred; EIT with Commissioning Certification a plusBenefits401(k) with bi-weekly company contribution (3% of salary)Annual profit-sharing contribution to 401(k)10 paid federal holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offOptional BenefitsAccident coverageShort-term and long-term disabilityTerm life insuranceMedical bridgeCritical illnessDavenergy Solutions Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
