Senior System Engineer

OverviewSenior System Engineer role at MSM Technology. Onsite support for a customer in Washington, DC. This role provides Tier III engineering and project support on systems (not limited to):Windows 10/11, Office 365 Apps, COTS & custom appsMS Teams, WebEx, HYCU backups, HP NAS & Secure PrintZscaler ZPA/ZIA, AvePoint cloud backupsReview infrastructure to optimize performance and capacityIdentify/correct M365 AD issues; create remediation plansContribute to knowledge base for troubleshootingCoordinate with vendors and product providersSupport SDLC documentation (SDLC gates, IRB, ATO)Maintain required documentation with System Owner & leadershipUpdate policies/procedures for quality consistencyAttend technical, change control, and review board meetingsKeep tickets/projects current; deliver weekly/monthly reportsCommunicate and collaborate with all Tier teamsLead MSM staff: task planning, documentation, client communicationResponsibilitiesProvide Tier III engineering and project support on assigned systemsLead staff activities related to tasks, documentation, and client communicationMaintain and update system and process documentationRequirementsPer customer requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S.Applicants must be able to successfully pass a background investigationBachelors degree in a relevant field7–10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 10 years working with enterprise technologiesExpertise InWindows 10/11, Office 365 Apps, COTS & custom softwareAzure Platform (Virtual Machines, Desktops, EntraID, Automation, Virtual Networking)Active Directory domain management (DNS, GPO, DHCP, file services, user/group management, PKI)M365 Platform Administration/ManagementIdentity Access Management (Okta, ADFS, or similar)Container platforms (Docker, Azure Kubernetes, Others)Enterprise Backup solutionsHP Secure Print for secure enterprise printing, scanning, and faxingZscaler ZPA/ZIA or similar firewall and network security productsSalary$120,000 - $140,000Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
