Vice President of Engineering

OverviewWe are seeking a Vice President of Engineering to drive innovation and lead transformation across our client’s organization. In this role, you will guide a team of engineers, architects, and QA analysts in an Agile development environment, delivering cutting-edge solutions that elevate the customer experience.Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid schedule 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Knowledge & SkillsProficient in strategic planning, evaluating emerging technologies, managing agile product development processes, overseeing software development lifecycles, and stakeholder governance.Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams, manage teams effectively, and motivate them.Capable of navigating resource conflicts and internal pressures while aligning with business priorities.Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal mitted to fostering inclusive environments that promote diverse talent.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years in a leadership role, leading Engineering teams in either the financial sector or in a B2B SaaS organizationExperience running fully agile teams, with a deep understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.Demonstrated expertise in implementing high-impact customer service applications for large-scale mobile and web platformsExperience driving an agile product development processStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset, with a focus on driving innovation and delivering results.About Lumen ResourcesAt Lumen Resources, you will partner with trained recruiters who will guide you through discovering a brighter future.
