You will play a key role in fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence while aligning technical initiatives with business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead at scale: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering organization working on consumer-facing applicationsPartner closely with Product, BI and Marketing teams to build a strong roadmap focused on consumer engagement, experimentation and content driven growthFoster a culture of Engineering excellence: Champion a culture of quality, experimentation and metrics driven development.Drive engineering best practices, including agile development methodologies, robust production systems, and effective management of technical debtManage budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveryInfluence Organizational Strategy: Contribute to broader engineering org practices and help shape how we build and scale cross-functionallyQualifications10+ years of progressive software engineering experience5+ years in an engineering leadership role managing managers and distributed development teamsPrior experience leading engineering teams in high growth, consumer-facing companies, including mobile and web platformsDeep expertise in agile software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), and microservices architectureA track record of building effective organizations and teams, including growing technical and people leadersAbility to align teams with business outcomes while scaling engineering operations and culturePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferredBehavioral CompetenciesManages ComplexityCollaboratesDrives ResultsStrategic MindsetBuilds Effective TeamsPDI is committed to offering a well-rounded benefits program, designed to support and care for you, and your family throughout your life and career.
