Such equipment may include sewing equipment, foam fabrication equipment, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc.Manage and maximize the output of plant equipment used in production, ensuring functional longevity and aesthetic quality of the products.Plan, delegate, and perform work that requires a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, written specifications, local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application of electronic equipment.Directly manage all maintenance staff, contractors, OEMs to ensure safety, timely production, and completion of their projects.Collaborate with the Plant Director and Department Supervisors to ensure successful accomplishment of the site’s production needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Tempur Sealy is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).2 years of experience with a demonstrated understanding of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, HVAC, low- and high-pressure pumps, open and closed loop piping systems, and PLCs.Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.Experience with computer maintenance management systems.Arc flash, HAZWOPER, and forklift operator certifications, or ability to obtain them.Certificates or licenses in electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, boilers, or PLC controls are preferred.Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced production environment that may require lengthy periods of standing, bending, lifting, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
