Electromechanical Field Service Technician

Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a talented Electrical & Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automated parking systems, lifts, and related equipment. It is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in dynamic environments, and is passionate about customer service.What You’ll DoSystem Expertise: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment on-site.Troubleshooting: Resolve equipment issues to ensure optimal performance.Customer Relations: Build positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.Field Installations & Training: Install systems and train users at client sites.Remote Support Collaboration: Coordinate with remote support teams to understand issues prior to site visits.Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance.Safety First: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.Efficiency & Innovation: Suggest improvements for equipment and service efficiency.Online Support: Use proprietary systems for remote diagnostics and support.QualificationsTechnical Background: Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including high-voltage equipment, motors, conveyor systems, heavy machinery, and working in elevated or confined spaces.Problem Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate with onsite and remote munication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Experience & Education: 3+ years in a similar role; vocational training or relevant degree is a plus.Availability: Flexibility for evenings, weekends, night shifts, and on-call duties.Tech Savvy: Comfortable with mobile devices and computers.Nice-to-Have SkillsWelding or forklift experienceKnowledge of PLCs, firmware flashing, and hardware updatesUnderstanding of wired/wireless communication protocolsShift OptionsDay Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6 AM–3 PMOn-Call: As needed for urgent service callsCompany DescriptionUtron is a leading provider of automated parking solutions, offering services from R&D to ongoing maintenance.
