Job DescriptionJob Title: Production SupervisorDepartment: ManufacturingArea: Liquid/Salt ProductionJob Type: Full-Time | NonexemptReports To: Director of Manufacturing (or similar leadership role)Compensation: DOE, up to $25/hrShifts: Day and Swing shifts availableHours: 5:15am to 2:25pm; 1:45pm to 11:00pmAdditional: Open and flexible to overtime and working weekendsJob Summary:We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality. This hands-on leadership role requires presence on the production floor. Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Daily OperationsMonitor attendance, vacation, and absenteeism of staff.Maintain facility cleanliness and hygiene compliance.Oversee inventory and finished goods scanning and placement.Set and communicate daily production goals.Ensure machine efficiency; escalate issues as needed.Review and sign off on checklists and reports.Team ManagementLead, train, and evaluate staff and inspectors.Support hiring and onboarding processes.Coordinate meetings and performance reviews.Promote teamwork and professional standards.Production & Quality ControlOversee production documentation and audits.Coordinate with QA for inspections and quality checks.Monitor raw material and packaging inventory.Suggest process improvements to reduce waste.Maintain documentation for compliance.Safety & ComplianceEnsure safety and hygiene policies are followed.Report incidents and support investigations.Maintain safety equipment and materials.Qualifications:Supervisory experience in manufacturing or production.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.Basic computer skills.Lead by example and collaborate effectively.Performance Goals:Plant Efficiency: 85% or aboveMachine Efficiency: 85% or aboveRejection Rate: Less than 1%Rework/NCMR: NoneCompany Description:Star Staffing is a woman-owned staffing agency serving Northern California for over 25 years, with offices in Modesto, Sacramento, Napa, Petaluma, and Santa Rosa.
