ASIC Verification Engineer — Yoh Silicon Valley (Formerly ERG, Inc.)Location: Santa Clara, CAResponsibilitiesReviewing the product designs and noting likely points of failure.Designing verification methodology based on product designs and failure points.Determining testing environments and verification tools.Planning the method of sequence for testing stituting and tweaking testing mechanisms and protocols.Writing up final test procedures and training QC staff.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Science4 years of Design Verification experienceVery good understanding of Design Verification goals and challengesVery good knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVMProcessors architecture with understanding of execution pipelinesGPUs or vector processing engines architectureCache hierarchy and MMU architectureCache coherency protocolsStandard protocols like PCIe and DDR4/5Verification environments architecture and implementationVerification tools architecture and implementationRegression infrastructure architecture and implementationVerification process and test plan developmentAssertion-based verification using SVA/OVAFunctional coverage methodology and implementationFormal equivalence checking tools like JasperTheorem provers like ACL2Should have demonstrated experience with several of the following:Debugging complex test scenariosWorking on FPGA emulated platformsWorking in a Linux environmentUsing git version control systemUsing a scripting language (Perl or Python)Using C programming languageUsing C++ programming languageUsing TCL and ExpectBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and ternational environment and further career progression.Getting in touch with bleeding edge technology.Flexible working hoursWork-life balance.Collaborative and supportive work pensationThe base salary range is $130,000 to $280,000. Your salary will be determined based on your experience and specific skillset.
