OverviewPosition Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with proven experience in both commercial and residential systems, as well as refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in various environments. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive work ethic, and a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, walk-in coolers, freezers, and ventilation equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issuesPerform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system tune-upsInterpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsEnsure compliance with HVAC and refrigeration codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specificationsDocument service work, material usage, and job status in service reportsCommunicate effectively with clients to explain system issues and recommend solutionsMaintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in proper working orderRespond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation when requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certificationEPA Section 608 Certification requiredRefrigeration experience is required (commercial and/or residential)Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC and refrigeration service, repair, and installationStrong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systemsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordExcellent diagnostic, organizational, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyMust be physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc.)BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany-provided vehicle, tools, and equipmentTraining and professional development opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
