Operating out of San Francisco, California, and equipped with latest simulation tools and high-end manufacturing machines, Dymenso supplies highly engineered vacuum electronics devices to customers worldwide.The RolePosition available open to Mechanical Engineer with creative and analytical mind. Requires strong mechanical problem-solving skills and an aptitude for developing quality engineering solutions. The position requires a dynamic and multifunctional individual who is knowledgeable of full-cycle engineering/manufacturing processes. He/she will work together as a team with engineering the projects and be the overall liaison between the in-house manufacturing team. This person should have general engineering expertise and be open to collaborate in a team environment.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent5+ years of related work experienceProficient in SolidWorksPreferred QualificationsPrecision engineering and manufacturing experienceSolid understanding of vacuum components, material properties and machine designThermal analysis experienceStructural analysis experienceGood analytical skills and knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preferably with ANSYS software experienceCFD analysis experience (Fluent preferred)Manufacturing experience and knowledge of CAM toolsSkilled in documenting activities and maintaining recordsGood understanding of standards and geometric tolerancingAbility to manage time, resources and vendorsStrong verbal and written communication skills, including technical report writingPersonal AttributesDetail oriented, creative and self-motivatedCapable of working independently in a small and innovative company environmentGood communication and team working skillsComfortable working in a rapid pace environment, and handling multiple projects, simultaneouslyExport Control RequirementsThis position must meet export control compliance requirements.
