Your charter is to lead partners in engineering and design of mission-critical data center sites and spaces while leading internal and external teams in construction delivery and operational commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead a strong organization for geographically dispersed expansionDesign best-in-class, cost-effective data centers incorporating renewable energy and sustainability practicesCreate strategic relationships with vendors, contractors, and trades to enable safe, rapid delivery at advantaged costsBuild programs and standards where they currently don/'t existBusiness & Personnel LeadershipImplement programs for safety, process improvement, and business continuityEstablish KPIs using external benchmarks for internal and outsourced teamsStay current with industry trends and emerging technologiesExcellence in Planning & ExecutionOptimize sustainable data center construction performance across the portfolioOrchestrate relationships with contractors, trade partners, and equipment suppliersNegotiate and drive optimal procurement for all construction requirementsQUALIFICATIONS15+ years/' experience in design or construction of large-scale mission-critical facilities with 5+ years specifically in data centersProven track record of delivering engineering and construction on schedule and budgetDemonstrated command of the design-build process including engineers, contractors, suppliers, labor, safety, and public authoritiesGrowth-oriented commercial disposition with innovative thought leadershipUnderstanding of P&L, resource allocation, and technology utilization driving efficienciesExperience in data center real estate investment with requirements for investor returnsHistory of leading geographically dispersed teams consistently performing at/above planTHE PACKAGECompensation: Industry LeadingTravel: 25-50%, primarily to project sitesCOMPANY CULTUREOur client embraces core values of:Grit: Perseverance in the face of adversityIntegrity: Doing the right thing even when no one is watchingAccountability: Doing what you say you/'re going to doProblem Solving: Finding the best solutions to complex issuesTheir environment features radical candor meets extreme ownership, with blameless post-mortems and transparent feedback culture.
