Bring your passion and creativity to The Peninsula Regent, where your career can thrive while making a difference!Wages: $25.00 - $27.00 / hr DOEShifts needed:Friday/Saturday NOC (11:00p - 7:30a)Saturday/Sunday AM (7:00a - 3:30p)What you'll be doing: As our Lead Caregiver/Med Tech, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our residents while ensuring their wellbeing and satisfaction. You’ll lead and mentor our Caregivers, guiding them in providing exceptional support with daily activities and medication management. Your commitment to excellence, integrity, and collaboration will shine through as you advocate for resident rights and uphold our community values. You’ll communicate effectively with residents and their families, tailor care to individual needs, and participate in the resident care team to enhance their quality of life. Join us to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment where your leadership and expertise will thrive!About you:Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a nursing home or senior living facility as a Med Tech or Lead Caregiver.Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.Working knowledge of electronic medical records munication skills, observation skills, and knowledge of universal precautions.Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to work with and lead others.What TPR Offers You:Scholarship ProgramDiscounted mealsMedical (90% of monthly premium paid by us), dental, vision401(k) with 4% matchGenerous PTO (paid time off) planA great team, stable leadership, and a positive work environmentPayActiv (early wage access)Medication management for members in I/L and A/L, including all documentation requirements. Communicate with residents, families, and team members effectively and be able to individualize communication to accommodate resident specific needs. Complete assigned duties such as, but not limited to; showers, socialization time with residents, mealtime duties, maintaining neat resident spaces, medication administration, replenishing supplies, providing clean linen, and transporting residents to appointments. Document all completed tasks and ADL’s as soon as possible. Attend all required in-services and training in compliance with state and federal guidelines and facility protocols. Support current certification with any required continuing education. Participate on the resident care team by identifying personal preferences of residents, maintaining the highest achievable level of functioning, and informing care team of critical information. Assist with preceptor program, onboarding, and training for Caregivers. Ensure competency checklists are completed for new employees whom you are precepting. Attend preceptor meetings as designated by your supervisor or manager. Assign appropriate work assignments and breaks to Caregivers. Provide direction and leadership during assigned shift.
