The ideal candidate enjoys roadway design, project coordination and interacting with clients. As a Transportation Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will be joining a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs.This opportunity has the flexibility to be located in either our Chicago or Downers Grove, IL location and has three days in office and two days virtual schedule most of the time.Key ResponsibilitiesManage team to successfully deliver projects per the client's expectationsManager project schedules and budgetsCoordinate with Client and subconsultantsCollaborate with fellow managers in the development of proposal packagesAssist less experienced engineers by providing technical support and opportunities for skill developmentRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringA minimum of 15 years of experience working on civil transportation centric design projectsPossess phase I/II design and project management experience, varying in complexity for clients such as IDOT, Tollway, CDOT and other local agenciesPE license in ILThe ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare the designs themselves should staffing availability and schedule dictate as suchProficient with MicroStation and ProjectWiseProficiency in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam and/or AdobeHave a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal formsHave good to great organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree(s)Familiarity with Open RoadsFamiliarity with proposal preparationExperience designing and managing the preparation of project reports, plans, specifications and estimates for local municipalitiesCFM licensePTOE licenseBenefitsWe offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans401K, Paid Maternity Leave, Competitive PTOEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and moreArdmore Roderick is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
