They focus on employee professional growth, member financial well-being, and promoting the credit union story.Job Description:Role: Instructional Design Manager, Certifications & DesignationsThe Instructional Design Manager, Certifications & Designations, is responsible for developing impactful instructional materials and experiences to guide individuals in obtaining certifications and designations within the credit union industry. This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of curricula competencies, managing instructional design projects, supporting event production and meetings teams, setting standards, fostering innovation, and promoting continuous improvement in online and blended learning environments.Responsibilities:Project Management/Instructional Design Process:Lead instructional design projects from inception to completion, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and delivery.Define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.Collaborate with the Director of Certifications and Designations to manage budgets and business plans for programs.Meet attendance, financial, and educational goals for each program.Review expenses and adjust programs to meet budgets.Hire and review subject matter experts and coordinate with production specialists.Maintain instructional design standards, competency models, and best practices.Oversee development of instructional materials and conduct quality assurance structional Design Strategy:Develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals.Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and educational technology.Identify new curriculum development areas based on industry needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.Select and implement appropriate learning technologies.Ensure accessibility and brand standards are met.Continuous Learning/Onsite Engagement:Maintain expertise in adult training techniques and industry corporate expertise into programming and new program creation.Manage onsite, online, and hybrid curricula.Provide speaker feedback, coaching, and instructor support.Assist with conference activities, webinars, orientations, and faculty coordination.Serve as liaison to credit unions and committees.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and credit union municate effectively to gather feedback and promote understanding of instructional processes.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.5+ years in instructional design & development, with knowledge of credit union compliance and operations.Experience in adult training programs, web-based/virtual training, project management, and budget management.Excellent communication skills and understanding of adult learning theories.Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and credit union operations.Leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Skills in project management, multimedia software, and technology.Willingness to travel up to 70 days per year.Location:This position is fully remote, based in any of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. #J-18808-Ljbffr
