You will work alongside a team of world-class scientists and engineers in defining how the system will be optimized and trailblaze problems that are new to the industry. If your passion is innovation, solving challenging technical problems and doing impactful work you should join our team and help build the world's first optical computers!In this job, you will work in close collaboration with analog designers, photonics engineers, computer architects, software engineers, and RTL design engineers to design innovative compute-accelerators that work with photonic technology to power the growing AI/ML workloads that customers want while keeping power low. This will be a great opportunity to define the next advance in computer architecture!ResponsibilitiesIn depth analysis of PHY and optical link performanceClose collaboration with various teams to develop tuning and calibration algorithms for photonics and analog logicHands on post-silicon performance analysis and debugCreation of post-silicon test cases and planningCross team functional post-si bring-up and executionBehavioral modeling of photonics and analog circuitsAbility to run and analyze mixed signal simulationsQualificationsMaster’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of industry experienceExpertise with modeling advanced systems in SystemVerilogExpertise in Scripting - PythonStrong knowledge of optical link design architecturesFamiliarity with ASIC design flows and FinFET technologiesUnderstanding of digital design concepts, including RTL coding in Verilog and running/debugging simulationsPreferred QualificationsPhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of industry experienceExpertise with modeling advanced systems in Python and CExpertise Scripting in other languages such as C, Perl, or TCLWe offer competitive compensation.
