Due to our rapid growth, we seek passionate and talented team members who want to work in an organization that values integrity, diversity, intellectual curiosity, and accountability.Job SummaryReporting to the Director of Engineering, the Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for sustaining/value engineering projects and evaluating and improving electrical control system boards in collaboration with the product design team.Key Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, evaluate, and improve spa, pool, and bath electrical control systems and control panel boards (PCBA).Investigate and utilize new technologies where vestigate and resolve product problems on new and legacy products.Work with the electrical design team to improve the product manufacturability.Develop schematics, select components, and oversee PCB buildouts.Work with the Test Engineering team to develop customized PCBA for signal conditioning and testing.Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.Provide support for sustaining and new product issues in Manufacturing and the field.Support continual cost reduction efforts and maintain company reputation by complying with government regulations.Education RequirementsBachelor Of Science in Electrical EngineeringExperience RequirementsMinimum of 3+ years experience in electronics systems design and development; 1+ years experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment is desirable.Required Skills/AbilitiesExperience should include microcontrollers, power supplies, and RF circuits.Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic and PCB layoutExperience with developing electronics products for wet environments a plusGood verbal and written communication skills in English and SpanishAbility to multitask and prioritize a changing workload.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Possess problem-solving skills and decision-making and can drive solutions to completion.Ability to interact with coworkers, suppliers, and customers.Ability to travel internationally and willing to attend global meetings in different time zonesSalary$95,000 - $115,000EEO StatementBalboa Water Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
