Job DescriptionCompany Description:Pacella Trucking Express is a family-owned business with 44 years of experience.Pacella is a well-established trucking company specializing in intermodal crosstown and pickup/deliveries.Role Description:This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Director located in Chicago, IL. The Safety Director will be part of the Safety team and will be responsible for developing and implementing all safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations. This includes onboarding new drivers, conducting ongoing safety training, implementing corrective actions, and investigating accidents with follow-up on insurance claims.Qualifications:Extensive experience in FMCSA regulationsProficiency in accident investigation and risk managementAbility to develop and conduct training programsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to collaborate actively with the Safety TeamEnsure all trucking operations adhere to regulationsAbout the Company:Pacella Trucking Express is one of the largest drayage trucking companies in the Chicagoland area.
