Job Title:Solutions EngineerEmployment Status: Full-timeOffice Hours: Monday - Friday, in-office with 1 day WFH optionLocation: Boston, MassachusettsSalary:$100,000 - $120,000 base + Variable Comp + equity options*OTE may be negotiated based on experience levelAs a Senior Solutions Engineer at Ketryx, you will play a critical individual contributor role focused on technical engagement with large enterprise customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle, leading deep technical discovery, tailored demos, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate how Ketryx fits into modern DevOps environments while meeting strict regulatory requirements. This position will be based in our Cambridge, MA office. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas (including H-1B), F-1 visas, or Optional Practical Training (OPT) status at this time.Responsibilities:Lead technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-values for large enterprise accounts.Prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations of Ketryx’s platform, mapping key features to customer pain points.Collaborate with sales teams to shape proposals that highlight our value: faster releases, higher software quality, and continuous inspection readiness.Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps practices and software development in regulated environments.Serve as the technical point of contact during evaluation and implementation phases.Address customer questions around integrations, security, validation, and compliance.Stay current on industry regulations, development practices, and competitor capabilities.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer success, preferably with enterprise clients.Deep understanding of software development workflows, DevOps toolchains, and Application Lifecycle Management.Familiarity with life sciences regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and software validation requirements.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with various DevTools and understanding of their role in the software development process.Willingness to travel.Preferred Skills:Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced settings.Prior experience in technical product software, especially in the life sciences space.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.Previous startup experience.Keywords: medical device software, software as medical device, SaMD, Software systems engineer, software in a medical device, SiMD, software systems engineering, software verification, software validation, technical communication, sales engineering, SaaS, sales engineerWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationWork in an exciting field with a positive impact on the worldOpportunity to learn and grow as part of a global teamHybrid work model (mix of work from home and office is possible)Generous PTO for full-timeKetryx is an equal opportunity employer.
