Overview Faculty Position – Cadence Conservatory (Boston, MA) Cadence Conservatory is a new private music institution opening in January 2026 in Brighton Center, MA 02135. We aim to serve motivated students of all ages, offering music training at the highest level, with an emphasis on classical and jazz training. Our mission is to provide world-class music education in an inclusive, inspiring, and community-focused environment. Position We are seeking exceptional faculty members (piano, strings, voice, winds, and jazz specialists) to join our founding team. Ideal candidates will be highly-trained performers and educators who are passionate about guiding students to excel in the arts. Also looking for faculty who have interest in potentially coaching small ensembles and chamber groups. Responsibilities Teach weekly private lessons to assigned students (ages 6–adult, flexible to what you’re comfortable with) Encourage student participation in ensembles, chamber music, and recitals Communicate progress with students and families in a professional manner Collaborate with colleagues to build a positive, community-oriented culture Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in music (or equivalent professional experience) Strong performance background with prior teaching experience preferred Passion for mentoring motivated students at all levels Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to the mission of providing serious, high-quality music education Compensation Extremely Competitive hourly rate: $60/hour (no administrative or facility fees deducted) Flexible teaching schedule tailored to availability (choose which days of the week you’d like to work) Opportunities to grow with the Conservatory as enrollment expands Application Process Interested applicants should submit: A brief cover letter describing teaching philosophy and performance background Two references (at least one related to teaching) Send materials to: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
