It is the leading national model for education and research in the health, psychosocial and biomedical sciences and supports the University's mission of educating students for a life of fulfillment and accomplishment and creating and translating knowledge to meet global and societal needs.About the OpportunityThe Department of Applied Psychology in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Online and Hybrid programs. This is a 52-week, non-tenure track position with potential leadership opportunities within the online/hybrid ABA programs with potential remote work options. The programs are based on the Boston (on-line) and Charlotte (hybrid) campuses. This position could be a good fit for early career or experienced behavior analytic faculty. Expertise in on-line teaching and building on-line learning communities is required. We seek candidates who will contribute to the teaching and leadership in Northeastern University's graduate ABA programs while supporting the development of new ABA program offerings and collaborations. This position is expected to begin on or before January 2026.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:Teach and maintain graduate and undergraduate behavior analysis courses in both online and hybrid formatsProvide academic advising to students throughout their programsChair student thesis equivalent projects and guide research activitiesDevelop and maintain course content and curriculum for ABA programsContribute to program leadership and build relationships with industry partnersPrimarily remote with occasional travel to campus(es) as needed to fulfil necessary job requirementsParticipate in program, departmental, and college service responsibilities and committee workIntegrate interdisciplinary, multicultural, and ecological approaches into research and trainingQualified candidates may be considered for program director rolesQualificationsDoctoral degree with a focus in applied behavior analysisBoard-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardStrong documented history of training and clinical supervision of students in behavior analysisDemonstrated effectiveness in online and in-person teachingAcquire and maintain relevant state licensure for practiceExperience developing curriculum for online/hybrid coursesAdditional InformationSuccessful faculty at Northeastern are dynamic and innovative scholars with a record of research and teaching excellence and a commitment to fostering a sense of belonging among all members of the Northeastern community.
