The APP Specialist, Gastroenterology is responsible for proactively& compliantly engaging with HCPs at a local level to identify marketplace needs, provide disease state and product education, and to support HCPs in appropriate utilization of JJIM access and fulfilment resources. The APP-Specialist will compliantly collaborate with other field team members in delivering all role responsibilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Utilize company approved materials to deliver disease state education covering topics such as pathophysiology, diagnostic modalities, treatment options and patient careDeliver on-label product education to support appropriate utilization of company approved productsAs needed, deliver unbranded or branded speaker programs in small or large group settingsEducate and champion utilization of JJIM Access and Fulfillment resources to drive optimal patient experience and careEngage with target customers, including APP societies and advocacy organizations, in or outside of office setting, including conferences to uncover marketplace needsContinuously and compliantly collaborate with field teams and home office marketing team to shape local execution, and APP-specific strategies and materialsCompletion of all required field standards, including timely and accurate documentation of customer engagements, expense reporting, and required trainingsRequiredAdvanced degree as either Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)3+ years as a NP or PA actively engaged in Gastroenterology/Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient careTrack record of building productive, collaborative relationships with individuals of varied educational background and performing different roles within an ecosystemSelf-starter with proven ability to set, pursue, and achieve goals/resultsSuperior communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent follow throughAbility to travel up to 75% of the time, including some weekend conferences. (This role is field-based with expectation to complete in-person engagements).Candidate must reside in the Northern California Territory.PreferredNP or PA experience working in both institutional/academic setting and community officeStrong knowledge as it relates to payer approval process, and solid business acumenAbility to translate customer feedback into potential solutionsStrong organizational, problem solving and project management skills.Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship and coachingGenuine interest and demonstrated competence in learning and adopting new technologiesJohnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
