You will handle various aspects of estate planning and administration, while enjoying a healthy work-life balance in a firm that truly values its people.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients to understand their goals and provide compassionate, practical counsel and to serve them from start to completion of engagementsDraft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directivesAdvise on tax implications, asset preservation, and wealth transfer strategiesSupport families through conservatorship and elder law issuesCollaborate with colleagues and case managers to ensure clients receive excellent serviceHelp to oversee less experienced attorneys, help them to learn and grow, oversee their workQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from a well-regarded and accredited law schoolActive California State Bar membership in good standing4+ years of estate planning experienceExperience in probate, conservatorship, trust administration, estate and gift tax matters a plusStrong writing, drafting, and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detailWarm, personable, and committed to building lasting client relationshipsAbility to balance independent responsibility with teamwork and collaborationWhat We OfferCompetitive salary ($150,000 – $185,000 per year, depending on experience), plus discretionary bonusesComprehensive health and dental insurance401(k) with employer contributionPaid vacation and holidaysMentorship and professional development opportunities and supportA supportive and collegial team cultureThe opportunity to do meaningful, client-focused work in a firm that is both established and forward-thinking #J-18808-Ljbffr
