The role involves working on various special projects, requiring a collaborative, business-oriented, and team-focused attitude in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards, acting with integrity, and upholding ethical standards in all job aspects.QualificationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects with excellent follow-through.Licensed lawyer with experience in high-paced, changing environments, capable of managing heavy anized, process-driven, self-directed, and able to improve processes.Effective use of data and analytics, willingness to learn database management and automation tools.Strong written and persuasive communication skills in litigation and contractual contexts.Skilled negotiator capable of navigating complex agreements independently.Sound judgment in ambiguous situations, with clear, reasoned recommendations.Passion for integrity, honesty, and fairness.Calm, a good team player, and capable of inspiring trust.Ability to engage with business partners on payer-related legal matters and risks.Experience managing outside counsel, developing legal strategies, and reducing legal expenses.Self-management and process development skills.J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, active bar membership, and qualification to practice in at least one U.S. state.At least 2 years of experience with complex litigation, contracts, or similar matters preferred.Experience with contract law, health law, managed care, payer contracting, Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance regulations is preferred.Familiarity with quantitative methods, data analytics, engineering, or advanced mathematics is strongly preferred.*Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, use of office equipment, and communication verbally and in writing.
