Location Duties Manage workers' compensation cases at all levels of complexity Represent clients at depositions and WCAB hearings Develop and implement case strategies aimed at efficient resolution Negotiate settlements of cases-in-chief and liens Draft legal pleadings, correspondence, and reports Communicate proactively and effectively with clients regarding case status and strategy Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation from inception through resolution Requirements 3 to 7 years of workers' compensation defense experience preferred Ability to negotiate and resolve claims effectively Commitment to providing excellent client service Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications Active license to practice law in California Skills Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills Proficiency in drafting pleadings and legal documents Strong negotiation and litigation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Familiarity with WCAB rules and workers' compensation procedures Technological proficiency in legal practice management systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
