Job Title:Business Immigration Associate AttorneyJob Overview:A prominent law firm based in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a Business Immigration Associate Attorney to support corporate and individual clients, especially in the technology, biotech, fintech, and related sectors. This remote position involves managing a diverse caseload of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions while providing high-quality legal guidance. The ideal candidate will have both technical expertise and excellent client communication skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Duties:Handle employment-based immigration cases including O-1, H-1B, L-1, E-2, EB-1, PERM, and NIW petitions.Advise clients on immigration options, strategies, compliance, and documentation.Draft, review, and finalize petitions, legal correspondence, and supporting municate regularly with clients for updates, document collection, and inquiries.Conduct consultations and case meetings with clients.Coordinate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely filings.Respond to RFEs and draft appeals or agency correspondence.Stay updated on immigration regulations, trends, and policies.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in business immigration law.Proficiency with employment-based petitions, including O-1, EB-1, NIW, and PERM.Strong written and oral communication skills.High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.Familiarity with case management software, preferably INSZoom.Client-centric approach with strong interpersonal fort working remotely in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.Certifications:Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction.Skills:Legal writing and analytical reasoning.Immigration case assessment and strategic planning.Document drafting and legal research.Efficient digital communication and virtual client management.Time and case management skills.Team collaboration and coordination.Job Location: Palo Alto, CA (Remote work available)Benefits include profit-sharing, comprehensive health insurance, HSA, 401(k), legal support, generous PTO, and professional development opportunities.
