Overview Defense Firm with multiple office locations throughout California seeking a General Liability attorney with 5 plus years’ experience in General Liability & Personal Injury defense for the Westlake Village office. Responsibilities Understand medical records, mechanisms of injury and injuries; identify the same and the experts needed. Work up files, investigate, and communicate with corporate clients. Propound and respond to discovery; take depositions and prepare for trial. Draft reports to carrier/client, pleadings and dispositive motions. Be self-motivated, curious, and hardworking; independently prepare files for settlement and trial as appropriate; attend court hearings; and be available to travel. Knowledge of public entity law is a plus. Opportunities This is a great opportunity to get involved in the early development of a quickly expanding general defense department.
