This role is responsible for developing payroll policies, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions, managing payroll budgets, and guiding a high-performing team. The Payroll Director will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on compensation strategy, regulatory risk, and enterprise-wide initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all payroll functions across domestic and international entitiesDevelop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controlsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll laws and tax regulationsManage payroll budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization strategiesCollaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams on compensation and benefits integrationOversee audits, reporting, and regulatory filingsGuide payroll system upgrades and digital transformation initiativesRespond to executive-level inquiries and provide strategic insightsMentor and develop payroll manager and staff across locationsLead medium to large-scale projects, including payroll system implementations, mergers/acquisitions, and global process standardizationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership of multi-site teamsDeep expertise in payroll compliance, taxation, and global payroll operationsExperience with enterprise payroll systems (e.g., Rippling, Oracle, SAP, Workday, UKG)CPP or equivalent certification strongly preferredExceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skillsBenefitsIndustry competitive payRestricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology companyHealth insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependentsEmployer contributions to HSA accountsPaid Parental LeavePaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityTeladoc401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salaryGenerous paid time off and holiday scheduleCell phone reimbursementTuition reimbursementSubscription to the Calm appMetLife LegalCompany paid commuter benefit; $200/monthCompensationCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $160,00 -$200,00 + Bonus.
