OverviewLitigation Associate Attorney - Washington, D.C. Stinson LLP is seeking a highly motivated commercial litigation associate with at least 2 years of experience to join our Washington, D.C. office. The successful candidate should have experience from a regional, national, or outstanding local law firm. Excellent writing, oral advocacy skills, and academics are required. Clerkship and court experience are a plus.ResponsibilitiesSignificant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex mattersProficiency handling e-discovery and fact developmentAbility to tackle complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresightStrategic and analytical approach to high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and trial workQualificationsAt least two years of commercial litigation experienceActive law license in the District of Columbia (Virginia or Maryland licensure preferred)Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, willingness to learn, and ability to manage a challenging workloadExperience from a regional, national, or outstanding local law firm is preferredCompensation and BenefitsAttorney compensation structure includes (1) a base salary and (2) a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The salary range for this role is $195,000 – $235,000.
