A respected law firm based in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to support its thriving Construction Practice Group. This is a non-partnership track role suitable for a legal professional who thrives under autonomy and can manage a substantial caseload. The role centers on dispute resolution, particularly through arbitration, and requires an individual with a high level of focus, initiative, and strong written advocacy skills.DutiesHandle a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, particularly those arising in the construction sectorPrepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requestsRepresent clients in arbitration, mediation, and litigation proceedingsConduct legal research and draft persuasive legal memorandaParticipate in hearings and oral arguments, including occasional trial exposureTake and defend depositions as neededAssist with settlement strategy and negotiationOversee workflows involving paralegals and support professionalsCollaborate closely with attorneys located in Tampa while working from the Miami officeRequirements2 to 7 years of relevant litigation experienceDemonstrated ability to manage a substantial volume of active mattersPrior experience with arbitration and construction-related disputes is highly desirableProven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a professional office settingBackground in resolving insurance-related litigation, design defect claims, or similar construction disputes preferredEducationJuris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)CertificationsActive membership in good standing with the Florida BarSkillsStrong legal research and analytical writing capabilitiesSkilled in motion practice and oral argumentEffective time management and organizational aptitudeTeam leadership or supervisory experience is a plusFamiliarity with both court and arbitration proceduresJob LocationMiami, FL #J-18808-Ljbffr
