OverviewSenior Consultant – Business Process Mapping and Analysis (contract) at Northern Trust. This role will interact with business, compliance, risk, and operational stakeholders across Asset Management to identify, assess and document processes and controls to drive business resiliency and support risk mitigation. The focus areas will range from functional departments to critical cross-NTAM processes and workflows. This role reports to the Head of Platform Innovation, NTAM’s Business Transformation Office.Responsibilities Strong business analysis skills including assessments of current state and future state process and procedures Develop and Maintain Processes and Procedures: Create and document processes and procedures for core Product Management and Fund Oversight processes, ensuring they are clear and easy to understand for business, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Regulators leveraging modern day tools such as Co-Pilot to capture the speed of drafting Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with multiple stakeholders to gather and synthesize details on workflows, objectives, owners, controls, systems, and SLAs. Ensure Research: Understand NT procedures and processes best practices to develop effective procedures that mitigate risks. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all procedures comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Training and Support: Assist in training employees on new procedures and updates, ensuring they understand and can implement them effectively. Escalates any concerning trends to Senior Management. This may include (but not limited to) emerging risks, weaknesses in controls and material change programs, deterioration in service / performance standards, and provide guidance on mitigating actions Partners with Compliance, Risk, and Controls to ensure documentation meets the stated objectives of clarity and risk management Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information seeking guidance to move forward Able to lead cross functional or complex process analysis and procedure writing activities Proactively manage dependencies, ‘reusable assets’ (components of the solution that have been already built elsewhere), roadblocks and learning points (i.e., milestones defined to resolve any uncertainty that the team might be dealing with). Timely escalate and relentlessly pursue resolution of any roadblocks with a clear, end-to-end ownership mindset. Continuously improve and optimize projects towards efficiency, productivity and quality standards. Robust understanding and experience working in the space of enterprise data warehouses, business intelligence, reporting and dashboards.Skills / Experience 10+ years as a Business and Process Analyst with demonstrated experience in writing procedures and mapping and analyzing current and future state processes Deep understanding of asset management domain with exposure to risk and management specifically the RCSA framework BA/BS required; Project Management experience desired Great skills across communication, facilitation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, ability to teach/train etc. Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterprise Flexibility and adaptability to change Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skillsNice to Have Experience with agile ways of working Management consulting experience a big plusPay Range USD 100 - 120 per hourNote: The above pay range is a good faith estimate of what the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position.BenefitsOptional benefits offering includes medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits via Hiregenics.Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Management and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
