Job DescriptionWe are an established employment defense firm in San Diego seeking two Litigation Attorneys with 2+ years of experience to join our growing team. Our firm represents public entities, school districts, and universities across California in high-stakes PAGA, class action, and employment-related litigation.Responsibilities:Handle a full spectrum of employment defense litigation matters from pre-litigation strategy through trial or arbitration.Lead and coordinate depositions, discovery, motion practice (e.g., summary judgment, demurrers), and hearings.Act as counsel of record, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs with accuracy and persuasive advocacy.Represent clients in court, mediations, and labor agency proceedings, demonstrating strong courtroom presence.Collaborate with senior litigators to develop case strategy and deliver clear, confident client communication.Ideal Candidates:2+ years of employment litigation experienceStrong legal writing and courtroom skillsOpen to those transitioning from plaintiff to defenseEducation/public sector experience is a plus, but not requiredSalary and Other Compensation:The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 – $250,000, plus eligibility for discretionary annual bonuses and quarterly billable-hour bonuses.
