You will partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement people-focused initiatives that enhance engagement, improve retention, and support business objectives. You will ensure HR programs and services meet the evolving needs of the organization while fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.We value individuals who can Think Fast, leveraging data and insights to drive HR strategies that align with business goals; Work It Together, building trust-based relationships and fostering collaboration across teams; and Make the Hard Call, making thoughtful, people-centered decisions that balance business needs with employee experience.Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness, and recreation.What you will be doing:Partner with senior stakeholders to provide HR business partnering and consultative support, acting as a trusted advisor on talent and organizational strategies.Develop and execute workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives that align with business priorities.Manage and guide organizational design and change management efforts to enhance efficiency, agility, and team effectiveness.Implement strategies to enhance associate engagement, reduce turnover, and strengthen retention through targeted HR initiatives.Drive HR service delivery improvements, incorporating best practices and leveraging analytics for data-driven decision-making.Act as a steward for talent management, mentoring and developing HR teams while fostering a culture of growth, development, and inclusion.Support, manage, and guide HR projects, including learning & development programs, workforce planning, and other strategic people-focused initiatives.Ensure HR programs and services meet or exceed the evolving needs of the organization, continuously improving HR processes and service levels.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of HR experience with a generalist background.5+ years in an advanced HR management role.Strong track record in organizational development, talent strategy, and workforce planning.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:MBA or advanced degree.SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
