Overview Job Title: Vice President of Business Development Location: Florida, USA Mackenzie Stuart are partnered with a high-growth, PE-backed Dental Services Organization (DSO) in the search for a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Business Development. This executive role is responsible for driving the company’s growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion, whilst leading the business development department and all related efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong professional network, deep industry knowledge, and a “boots on the ground” approach to sourcing and executing deals. The position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the PE sponsors and senior leadership team. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the company’s business development strategy across existing and new markets Oversee and manage the business development department, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives Identify, evaluate, and pursue acquisition targets and strategic partnerships Leverage existing industry relationships to generate deal flow and growth opportunities Collaborate with PE sponsors and internal teams to manage M&A processes from sourcing through integration Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired practices, ensuring alignment with operational and cultural standards Partner with internal departments including operations, finance, legal, and clinical leadership to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and deal sourcing Track and report on business development KPIs and pipeline progress to executive leadership and investors Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in business development, ideally within dental, healthcare services, or multi-site operations Proven track record of sourcing and executing M&A deals in a PE-backed environment Strong existing network within the dental industry or adjacent healthcare verticals Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Willingness to travel frequently and engage directly with potential partners and targets Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to growth Seniority level Executive Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
