This role blends strategic business development, sales leadership, and operational oversight, requiring a dynamic leader who can expand revenue opportunities while managing policies, procedures, performance metrics, and internal systems. The VP of Business Development & Operations acts as the second-in-command, supporting the Owner’s vision and ensuring company goals are consistently achieved.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve growth targets and expand market presence.Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.Establish and execute sales strategies, quotas, and incentive programs aligned with company objectives.Represent the company in key meetings, presentations, and negotiations.Operational Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain company policies, procedures, and best practices.Oversee compliance with operational and industry standards.Ensure efficiency and accuracy of internal systems, including reporting, billing, and compliance tracking.Manage performance dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights to leadership.Performance Management: Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for departments and individuals.Create forecasting models and reports to evaluate progress toward strategic goals.Review organizational performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.Translate high-level objectives into tactical plans that drive both business development and operational improvements.Act as second-in-command, supporting leadership decision-making and providing oversight in the Owner’s absence.Partner with department heads to align resources, budgets, and staff with organizational priorities.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).7+ years of leadership experience spanning sales/business development and operations.Proven success in driving revenue growth and managing cross-functional teams.Strong knowledge of policies, procedures, KPIs, and operational systems.Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.Flexible work from home options available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
