These roles are ideal for experienced professionals who are highly detail-oriented, possess a strong knowledge of payroll practices, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal or professional services environment. These assignments are estimated to last between 6-12 months.1. Payroll Specialist – Temporary AssignmentKey Responsibilities:Process multi-state payroll for attorneys and staff using in-house payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, or UltiPro).Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and bonuses.Maintain and update employee records, timesheets, and direct deposit information.Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally.Assist with compliance reporting and year-end tax documents (W-2s, etc.).Support payroll audits and coordinate with HR on onboarding and offboarding processes.Collaborate with accounting on general ledger entries related to payroll.Qualifications:3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.Familiarity with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.Proficient in payroll software systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential pensation:$40 - 45/hr.2.
