This includes companies involved in manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, and other industrial services. The team offers expert counsel to help clients navigate complex regulatory environments, manage public perception, and engage effectively with stakeholders. Services encompass media relations, crisis communications, public policy advocacy, and reputation management. By leveraging deep industry knowledge and a global network, the Public Affairs Industrials team assists clients in addressing challenges and seizing opportunities within the industrials sector.The Consultant will primarily support team members in the execution of various projects and campaigns. The Consultant will conduct research for ongoing client projects, will work with account teams on client deliverables, and will contribute to successfully meeting client goals and objectives. A Consultant must keep up-to-date on key issues and current events for their clients, as well as generally in relevant industries.What You’ll DoAs a consultant, you will support strategic communications initiatives by helping design and execute tailored programs that align with client goals. Responsibilities include:Conduct research to inform the development of comprehensive communication strategiesDraft and edit client-facing materials, including memos, press releases, presentations, media summaries, social media content, and email communicationsMonitor media and policy developments to prepare regular reports for internal and client useAssist in tracking program performance and creating progress reportsIdentify and research relevant stakeholders and target audiencesEvaluate and recommend timely editorial opportunities and calendar placementsProvide thoughtful, responsive support to client challenges and requestsContribute to the growth of existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and supporting project executionParticipate in mentoring and providing feedback to interns as part of their professional developmentClient DeliveryDevelop a strong understanding of each client’s business strategy, services, key stakeholders, and competitive landscapeSupport the execution of integrated communication programs across multiple client accounts simultaneouslyConsistently produce high-quality, client-focused work that aligns with project objectives and deadlinesPrepare polished, client-ready deliverables efficiently and on scheduleCollaborate with managers to assess project resource needs and help coordinate task assignments across the teamBusiness DevelopmentContribute to maintaining and strengthening client relationships through consistent, proactive supportAssist managers in evaluating client needs and identifying strategic communication opportunitiesParticipate in the development of new business proposals, pitch materials, and presentations to help grow client accountsHow You’ll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth, and development opportunities.
