As a key member of our Vertical Transportation group, you’ll play a pivotal role in a national practice committed to elevating movement—safely, efficiently, and seamlessly.PayBase pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yrIn this roleIn this role, you will:Lead projects from planning through completion, including developing budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and quality standardsPrepare proposals and agreementsManage complex modernization projects and perform equipment surveys, bidding, submittal reviews, and construction administration, including field reviewsConduct VT maintenance evaluations and acquisition surveys; prepare and present reports to clientsOversee project schedules and ensure timely delivery of project milestonesPerform quality and peer reviewsProvide guidance and mentorship to more junior consultantsParticipate in interviews and presentations for new business opportunitiesWhat You’ll Bring to the Team:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and trainingMinimum 5 years of experience in vertical transportation consultingStrong communicator across all levels—written, verbal, and visualProven track record managing multiple complex projects with quality outcomesRecognized locally as a subject matter expert in vertical transportation consultingExperienced in leading teams and coordinating with internal staff and external consultantsWhy Walker Consultants?At Walker Consultants, we understand that vertical transportation systems are more than just elevators and escalators—they’re essential to how people experience and move through buildings.
