The Lead, Corporate IT (Workday Platform) partners with internal and external stakeholders to understand business processes, workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement, and security within the Workforce Management eco-system. Workday is the core platform, reimplemented from greenfield in February 2024. The Workday Platform Lead will be part of the Workforce Management team, requiring innovation and delivery of key technical functionalities, supporting current and future workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, data movement, security, troubleshooting, and support ticket resolution. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and monitor workflows, integrations, custom interfaces, data models, and data movement using Workday Platform tools. Develop deliverables such as integration strategies, design templates, test scenarios, and tracking/reporting mechanisms. Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs for deployment lifecycle support. Collaborate with vendors and functional leads for requirements gathering and process understanding. Provide ongoing support for workflows, integrations, and data/security in production. Research failures, perform root cause analyses, and report findings. Maintain a repository of integrations and data flow maps. Author business/functional and technical documentation, testing plans, and scripts. Work with partners to define requirements and solutions in an agile environment. Implement standard operating procedures for tenant management. Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment of processes and technologies. Leverage expertise to drive improvements. Support audits, error handling, and issue resolution. Key Competencies/Core Knowledge Technical expertise in Workday Platform tools, Studio, Security, and tenant management. Deep understanding of Workday integration types and experience with debugging. Knowledge of Workday Extend is a plus. Effective communication with technical and non-technical partners. Creative problem-solving and process optimization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Self-motivated team player with a growth mindset and adaptability. Requirements Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. 5+ years experience with Workday Platform tools such as Studio, WECI, PECI. 5+ years experience with Workday reporting, EIB, and related tools. Experience with Workday BIRT, calc fields, and Security. Hands-on report writing, data management, and data movement experience. Experience with Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java. The anticipated salary ranges from $138,000 to $167,000, with potential incentives and benefits. Actual salary depends on qualifications and experience.
