Overview From commercial contracts to cyber security, IP to employment law and ethical practices – legal teams at Dell Technologies always have new, interesting and complex challenges to tackle. Dell is seeking an experienced labor and employment lawyer who will be responsible for representing Dell in contested labor and employment law matters and providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters in these practice areas in the United States, with a particular emphasis on Massachusetts. The position will also include representation of Dell in contested matters including litigation, arbitration, and administrative matters within these practice areas. The position will be located in the company’s headquarters in Round Rock, Texas, but candidates outside of the local geographic area will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Responsibilities Handle a docket of employment law matters including representing Dell in administrative charges, arbitrations, and litigation. Liaise with Dell’s Labor Relations team, advise and counsel on labor matters and represent Dell matters before the NLRB. Contribute to policies, standards and business procedures designed to foster compliance with US labor and employment laws. Leverage cutting-edge AI technology in the practice of employment law. Essential Requirements License to practice in one or more U.S. jurisdictions. 10+ years’ experience as a practicing attorney; 8+ years of experience practicing in the employment law section of a law firm, including experience representing large corporations, preferably including a multi-state practice, including 5+ years of labor law experience. First-chair employment litigation/arbitration experience. Significant experience representing clients in labor law matters, including experience representing clients before the NLRB. Ability to manage work with limited administrative support. A positive attitude, sense of humor, confidence, and the ability to work independently. Desired Requirements Licensed to practice law in Texas Strong preference - knowledge of Massachusetts employment law Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
