Compensation $90,000 - $120,000 commensurate with experience plus performance bonuses Responsibilities Be the primary attorney assigned to our Spanish-speaking clients. Handle a manageable caseload of misdemeanors and felonies, starting with about 50 cases and increasing based on case complexity and work-life balance. Help your clients succeed in life by pursuing the best defense for their goals, with autonomy in case strategy. Gain courtroom exposure through negotiating plea deals and litigating cases, emphasizing preparation, quick thinking, and effective communication. Conduct extensive research and analysis on a diverse range of criminal cases, utilizing AI tools for research, case preparation, and communication. Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and briefs. Collaborate closely with Associate Attorney Jeff Delman, owner George Reres, and administrative staff, maintaining organization and strategic case management. Qualifications Fluent in Spanish. At least 10 jury trials to verdict, with more preferred. Juris Doctorate, licensed by the Florida Bar, with a minimum of 3 years criminal court experience. Strong empathy and ability to build trust with clients, colleagues, and legal professionals. Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills. High integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards. Ability to manage multiple cases under pressure with attention to detail. Willingness to adopt and integrate new legal technologies rapidly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
