Senior Advisory Pricing & Data Manager

OverviewThe Senior Advisory Pricing & Data Manager will be responsible for the development of advisory-pricing data solutions and analysis. They will build the scripting and coding into various platforms to translate data from multiple sources and synthesize all the qualitative and quantitative elements of our relationship with each advisor or institution. These findings will enable strategic, data-driven decisions around advisory pricing that allow Cetera Financial Group to remain competitive in the marketplace, supporting our key priorities of organic and inorganic growth.ResponsibilitiesGathering data from various sources, cleaning and preparing it for analysis, and ensuring data quality.Write complicated scripts and programs to integrate systems, automate data processing, cleaning, and analysis, allowing the Investment Solutions team to perform complex advisory data analyses.Lead the generation of reporting, data and analysis tools for the Investment Solutions team.Publish and/or present findings via reporting or other visualizations.Create standard operating procedures for internal processes and specifications, providing suggestions for process improvements, and updating them as needed.Work with cross-functional teams, identifying business problems and proposing data-driven solutions.Mergers and acquisition support.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsExpert knowledge and programming skills with automation tools and scripting, primarily with SQL, Python, VBAExtensive data management, oversight and rationalization experienceCuriosity and attention to detailAnalytics and financial modeling abilitiesExtensive Microsoft Excel experienceAbility to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical pensationThe base annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
