IP Litigation Associate

Job Overview:A well-established law firm is seeking an IP Litigation Associate to join its team. The position is ideal for an attorney with 2-5 years of experience in patent litigation. The successful candidate will work on complex and high-profile IP cases and will have the opportunity to grow and advance within a dynamic law firm environment. Candidates with trial, motions, depositions, expert reports, and discovery management experience are preferred.Location:Chicago, ILDuties:Handle patent litigation matters, including trial preparation, motions, depositions, and discovery management.Prepare expert reports and manage discovery processes in complex IP cases.Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitration related to patent disputes.Collaborate with other attorneys and support teams to strategize case development and litigation tactics.Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Participate in client meetings and maintain relationships with clients throughout the litigation process.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in IP litigation, preferably patent litigation.Strong organizational and writing skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.Experience in trial preparation, motions, depositions, and discovery management.Strong academic credentials, including an undergraduate science degree.Demonstrated desire to excel in a law firm environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar admission in the state of practice.Skills:Strong litigation and trial skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.Familiarity with patent law and intellectual property litigation procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
