This senior role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a passion for anti-poverty law, systemic change, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Develop and lead impact litigation and legal strategySupervise attorneys and advocates; promote litigation skills developmentAlign legal services with policy and community advocacySupport legislative and administrative advocacy with legal expertiseRepresent clients and client groups in court and before agenciesCollaborate with legal service organizations and community stakeholdersContribute to strategic planning and organizational leadershipQualifications:JD and member in good standing of a state and federal bar (Maine preferred)Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (civil legal services, litigation, or policy work)Experience with class action litigation (Rule 23)Strong legal writing, supervision, and cross-sector collaboration skillsKnowledge of poverty law and trauma-informed legal practicesBenefits Include:Employer-covered health, dental, life, and disability insuranceRetirement contributions5 weeks of vacation, generous sick leave, 14 paid holidaysTo Apply:Send a resume, cover letter, and legal writing sample to (PDFs preferred).
