OverviewSenior Telco Delivery Consultant, Advisory role within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team. The role focuses on shaping and transforming how enterprises leverage cloud technology, influencing leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Senior-level advisor, you will identify patterns across customers, develop new architectural patterns, and create innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption. You will possess a deep understanding of AWS products and services and will drive innovation and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple organizations. You will work closely with stakeholders as trusted advisors, providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions, including sales support to align to customer business outcomes and value realization.About AWS Professional Services: a global team of experts that helps customers realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices across a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and delivering comprehensive business case analyses that demonstrate expected customer ROI, solution guidance, and implementation pathways for strategic cloud initiatives.Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases.Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.Scoping, sizing and creating proposals in collaboration with ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.Driving enterprise transformations leveraging cloud and emerging technologies through program management, value realization strategies, and cloud strategy development.Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.Creating scalable mechanisms and leading new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologies.LocationsLocation: Chicago, ILBasic qualifications5+ years of experience in cloud transformation implementation.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of solutioning experience with two or more of the following: BSS/OSS systems, network operational intelligence, customer service capabilities, 5G network architecture or data analytics.3+ years of solutioning experience assisting telecommunications and broadband service providers with building new or migrating existing business workloads to AWS cloud infrastructure.3+ years of experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction.Preferred qualificationsAWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Connect, RDS, Amazon Q).AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect).Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with emerging technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI applications in industry-specific contexts.Strong financial modeling and market research skills, with the ability to conduct operational impact assessments.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
