Overview HR Business Partner, Ops & Placement - West role at Acrisure. The HR Business Partner will be a proactive liaison between HR and the business, developing a deep understanding of the business and ensuring HR supports organizational goals and employee engagement. Responsibilities Identify the most pressing talent opportunities and challenges for respective client group(s) and ensure workforce implications are reflected in the business plan. Inform HR priorities; evaluate demand for new or adjusted HR offerings from business or trends. Execute existing and new HR solutions and capabilities. Partner on hiring and development of team members; collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to fill open positions, onboard new hires, and build strong pipelines. Explore external trends and recommend how they could affect internal employees. Provide guidance on Employee Relations, interpret policy, and participate in issue resolution. Develop and execute HR strategies with leadership to support organizational changes, including strategic, structural, technological, and people-oriented changes. Support change management and communication to facilitate transitions, alignment, and employee involvement. Facilitate cultural integration, foster open dialogue, and build an inclusive environment. Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires and effective offboarding for departing employees. Focus on retaining key talent and implementing retention strategies as needed. Evaluate roles within the business to ensure fair and competitive compensation, in cooperation with Compensation and HR leadership. Identify and develop high-potential employees and partner to ensure future leadership continuity. Collaborate with managers to create career development opportunities and may assist in delivering training programs. Support performance management processes and ensure regular feedback to employees. Maintain transparent communication to manage expectations and build trust. Act as a steward of HR policies and processes, gather feedback, and conduct audits to keep HR data and services effective. Provide coaching to leaders navigating change and enable collaboration across the HR function and the broader organization. Listen to business problems, inform leaders about talent implications, and propose alternative ideas as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in progressive HR with geographically distributed employee populations. 1+ year supporting customer experience functions (client/account management, customer service, claims management, etc.). Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational behavior. Experience with workforce planning processes and talent management processes (talent reviews, succession planning). Ability to influence, build relationships, and communicate across multiple levels. Experience managing moderate to high complexity employee relations issues and driving change. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environment preferred. Preferred Qualifications SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification. Experience in Finance or Insurance industry. Familiarity with Workday; proficiency in Microsoft products.
